Julie founded Speech Stuff after recognising a gap in joined-up, neuroaffirming assessment and therapy services for children in the North East. She brings specialist expertise in autism, sensory integration and total communication approaches.

Things parents often ask us

Where exactly is The Hive?

The Hive is in Quarryside House, Cramlington Village, Northumberland NE23 1BA. We send full directions with your appointment confirmation. Free parking on site.

Is the space accessible?

Yes - we have an accessible entrance and toilet. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific accessibility requirements.

Can I visit before our first appointment?

Yes - just ask on your free call and we can arrange a brief visit so your child can see the space before their first session.

What happens if my child is overwhelmed during a session?

We’re experienced in supporting children who find new environments difficult. Sessions are flexible and always follow the child’s lead.
